"Civil Defense" refers to the organized efforts by the U.S. government to prepare for and respond to emergencies, particularly during the Cold War, when the threat of nuclear war heightened concerns about public safety. The Federal Civil Defense Administration (FCDA) was established to educate citizens about disaster preparedness, develop emergency response plans, and promote community resilience against potential attacks or disasters.
The following is a selection of media that I find particularly interesting. Depending on your location or internet speed, the file load times may be a little longer, considering everything is hosted through Amazon Web Services (AWS).
